If you are new to the practices, we recommend letting us know so that we can give you additional guidance to help you settle in.
Mindfulness and Meditation
Mindfulness and meditation are both techniques that can help us improve our overall well-being by focusing on the present moment. There are numerous benefits to practice for our mental and emotional health, from reducing stress, helping us cope with anxiety, increasing sleep quality and encouraging more self-awareness.
Mat Pilates
Mat Pilates session are offered both as small group sessions and 1-1 offerings. Mat Pilates follows the core principles of concentration, control, centering, flow, precision and breathing to create a session which is low impact with a focus on body awareness during all the exercises to build muscular strength and flexibility.
Fitness Training
At Mudita Studio we offer a range of services in fitness training from 1-1 personal training, small private group sessions and classes such as High Intensity Interval Training as well as exercise technique workshops. All sessions are tailored to meet individual needs, and we encourage everyone to focus on the joy of moving our bodies.
Non-Diet Nutrition and Mindful Eating
The non-diet approach is a way of thinking about health and well-being that emphasises self-acceptance, body diversity and weight inclusivity. It is based on the principle that health is not determined by weight or body size but by overall well-being, including physical, mental, and emotional health. We draw on the practices from mindful eating engaging all of our senses to explore our relationship to food and eating.

Relaxation Practices
During Yoga Nidra you will be lying down or seated on a chair and the aim of the practice is to relax the body and quiet the mind allowing you to release from life stressors. You will be guided through towards a deep state of conscious awareness sleep, hence the practice is sometimes called Yogic Sleep. A Body Scan practice is a performed in a similar way but with the emphasis that we are guiding the mind towards awakening by bringing focused attention sequentially through each part of the body.
Yoga
All of our yoga classes are open to all whether you are new to practice or a regular practitioner. There are many different styles and you maybe drawn to one more than others. We currently offer Hatha, Vinyasa/Flow, Yin, Restorative, and Gentle/Chair.
